Polo has been diving for over 20 years. He started at the age of 14 back in Mexico City, where he first had a chance to discover the amazing underwater world. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer/Emergency First Response Instructor. He has also accumulated several diving professional credentials throughout the years from agencies like TDI, CMAS, CIMAS, PADI, etc.
Polo has acquired his professional diving experience in several countries and environments such as: fresh water at Half Moon Lagoon located in San Luis Potosi, Mexico; Cenotes in the Mayan Riviera; cold water diving in Les Escoumins, Quebec; warm tropical water in Turks & Caicos; and now the magnificent waters of British Columbia, Canada.

- Why did you get into diving?
- One of my best friends invited me to take a Discover Scuba program. I took it, loved it and was hooked for life!!!
- Most memorable dive
- I had the opportunity to be a safety diver in the Free Diving World Competition. I witnessed a new free diving World Record of 531.5 ft set by famous "Pipin" Ferreras off the island of Cozumel in Mexico back in 2000. An amazing experience!!!
