Splash for Trash

Last year we pulled enough cans, bottles and garbage from one small corner of Sasamat Lake that when we took it to the re-cycle depot we were able to give $600 to the Salvation Army in Langley, Chilliwack and Mission for Christmas Hampers!

In light of this we are going back again on Sunday, September 26. Gear rentals for the day are FREE (yup: free, no charge, zero, nada, nothing) so contact us to reserve what you need.

We will have a cash bar-b-que going with proceeds to Project Aware as well. We are hoping for a great turn out and Robbin Knox, our Project Aware coordinator for this event is planning to get more of the lake covered than ever before.

If you have non-diving family members - bring them out too! The paths and areas around the lake need clean ups as well and will go towards our goal of cleaning up this local little spot.
