Last year, Amy traveled with a group to Barkley Sound and they had a blast.

Actually, Richard S. and David H. are frantically “rescuing” Jim B.

This was the scene after Sunday’s successful rescue.

Jim was heard say, “I’m so glad Rich and Dave were there. At first, I was totally panicked. But they stepped in, calmed me down, and saved me.

“I would be a different person today if not for their training and dedication.”

All kidding aside, everyone had a blast on the weekend. If you’re interested in becoming a Rescue Diver (or getting your navigation specialty), give us a shout. We’ll be happy to discuss what’s involved.

Now that you’ve made a post, this should become a huge resource. You’ll be able to ask a question and get an honest answer. Our instructors and staff will be around to contribute too.

Oh, and there’s a buddy board. But you’ll only see it once you’ve signed in. If you’re looking for a buddy add your name to the list. Let people know that you like diving.

Then, email others from the buddy list to see if they like diving too.

Does this site look any different?

It shouldn’t. We’ve gone to great lengths to update the way langleydiving.com is served, but the look and feel should be like a familiar blanket on a cold day.

We should be able to post current news faster and more often.

Some things you’ll notice:

• There’s a feed. If you aren’t using a feed reader, you should consider one. It’s like getting a newspaper with only the news you want to read. Find the link near the bottom of any page.
• We’ve added a “links” link. This actually pulls down off of our del.icio.us account (http://del.icio.us/LangleyDiving) so if you find a good diving related link, send it to us.
• Site Maps gallore! Yup. There’s a site map. So if you need to find something quick, click the link at the bottom of any page.
