Diver’s Dream Charters

The San Juan Islands offer world class cold water diving. Underwater, the San Juans are the land of the giants- Giant Acorn Barnacles, Giant Plumose Anemones, and the Giant Pacific Octopus. You’ll also find rocks completely encrusted with sponges, cup corals, tunicates, and over a dozen different types of anemones. Red, purple and green sea urchins, nudibranchs of every shape and color.

Lu-Jac’s Quest started chartering scuba trips out of Anacortes in 1998, with over 100 dive sites identified so far.

The Boat is equipped with a heated cabin, a drop-down stern platform to ease entry, and two “Christmas tree” ladders for an easy climb back onto the boat. The boat is equipped with GPS, a depth sounder, radar, and a Coast Guard licensed skipper.

Coast Guard inspected and certified for 20 passengers, we will bring 10 divers on each charter plus 2 LD staff.

What to bring: all your own dive gear, two tanks and drinks; continental breakfast, coffee and lunch is provided. Our two-tank trips generally last about eight hours

THE SEA DRAGON!

Summer never ends on the Sea Dragon. Join 10 other divers for a not to be missed day of outstanding boat diving on one of the best charter boats in the lower mainland. The Sea Dragon sails from Horshoe Bay and explores dive sites suitable from novice to advanced and technical divers.

On board, in addition to the support of a fine crew who will provide you with dive and site briefings, you will get hot drinks and soup between dives. You are responsible for your own gear, but rentals are available from Langley Diving for those pieces you might be missing.

For $85.00, we supply tanks and weights for a two-tank dive day.

General Cancellation Policies:

  • For overnight trips, unless otherwise stated, a cancellation made 14 days or less before boarding will result in forfeiture of payment. Book your trip with 50% of trip cost, balance to be paid 14 days prior. Consult trip details sheet for policies specific to individual trips.
  • For day trips, placement on boat will be held based on deposit paid. Full payment required 14 days prior to boarding. Refund (less $25 non-refundable deposit) will be given if cancelled place is filled.
