Advanced Open Water
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is a weekend of diving that will enhance your skills and comfort in the water and introduce you to some of the most popular specialty areas of scuba diving.
You will complete five dives over Saturday and Sunday in a variety of diving disciplines. Two of the dives — deep and underwater navigation — are required dives, while the other three will be selected by you in conjunction with your instructor and the other students prior to the weekend. They can include such skills as underwater photography, underwater naturalist, night diver, wreck diver and many more. Each of these dives also counts as the first dive requirement should you wish to continue on and take the corresponding PADI Specialty course.
Prior to the course you will take part in a mid-week pool session to refresh your basic diving skills and complete the course registration. For each of the dives you do you will complete and submit a knowledge review from the training manual provided with the course.
Upon completion, you will receive a certification card stating that you are an Advanced Openwater Diver with a maximum depth restriction of 100 ft.
The course includes the use of all basic scuba gear (regulators, BCD, wetsuit, gloves, boots, weight belt and tanks) and training materials. Students are required to provide their own personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins).

Dry suit Upgrade: $350.00
The dry suit upgrade includes an additional pool training session, dry suit training manual, 6th open water dive and Dry Suit Specialty certification. All dives for the Advanced Open Water certification can be done in a dry suit with this option.
