Les Newman
Owner, Instructor
Les is the owner of Langley Diving and a PADI Master Instructor. In addition to the full range of PADI recreational dive programs, Les teaches seventeen PADI specialty courses, is an Emrgency First Response Instructor Trainer and teaches to the Assistant Instructor level in the PADI Professional Diving courses.
Les has been diving for over 10 years and has experience diving on all five continents. While he has been on wrecks and reefs, under ice and in tropical waters, his greatest passion is for diving with sharks, something he has done around the world with sharks from tiny dog fish in England to Great Whites in South Africa.
His passion for diving is reflected in Langley Diving’s high-energy environment.
Polo Nuñez
Assistant Manager, Instructor
Polo is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer/Emergency First Response Instructor who has been diving for over 17 years. He has also accumulated several diving credentials from agencies like CMAS,CIMAS,SDI/TDI & PADI. “I took diving lessons because I wanted to have a hobby, grew to love it, became addicted, and got hooked for life”
Polo has acquired his diving experience in various environments from rivers to oceans, tropical waters and cold waters. He has dove in Mexico and the Caribbean and enjoys traveling to tropical destinations and diving warm, blue waters…especially at night.
Amy Poll
Training Coordinator, Instructor
Amy is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer who has been diving for 16 years. She started teaching 12 years ago in the south eastern United States. She has also taught in the Caribbean, the South Pacific and of course Canada. Amy teaches the core PADI open water courses as well as a variety of specialties and Emergency First Response.
Amy enjoys promoting and supporting ocean and fish conservation. Her passion for diving is split between her love of marine animals and the enjoyment of watching the ocean take over man-made objects, such as wrecks, and making them it’s own.
Manfred Lippe

Instructor
Manfred is a PADI Staff instructor who has been teaching in Saskatoon for nine years prior to relocating to British Columbia. While his experience includes the standard PADI recreational dive courses and an assortment of specialties, Manfred has spent some of his teaching career working with disabled divers and with youth.
Coming from Saskatchewan, much of Manfred’s diving has been done in lakes across the prairie provinces and also includes diving in the Great Lakes. Manfred has taken trips to the Sea of Cortez off California and numerous trips around Vancouver Island. He is also a judge for international freediving competitions. His favourite activity is introducing divers to new dive locations and local dive sites.
Monique Score
Instructor
Monique is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and has been teaching diving in the lower mainland for nearly 10 years. She teaches a variety of specialty courses in addition to the core PADI Open Water courses. For most of the past 10 years she has worked either full or part-time in retail dive centres around BC. For the past two years she has been teaching for Langley Diving and working part-time in the shop.
In addition to extensive dive experience all around BC, she has enjoyed trips to Mexico and the Turks and Caicos. She enjoys underwater photography and taking new divers away on dive week-end trips.
